The University of Texas-Pan American's Commitment to Student-Athletes
The University of Texas-Pan American's Department of Athletics is committed to providing our student-athletes with informational sessions, seminars, and activities that will foster their growth as balanced individuals. This year's version of the Bronc Life Skills Program will focus on various diversity issues in order to create more of a social awareness concerning diversity, and to give our student-athletes both a local and global perspective. It is important for our student-athletes to embrace diversity, and they will be encouraged to do so. The UTPA Athletic Department also feels strongly about preparing its student-athletes for life after college. In conjunction with this belief, the Bronc Life Skills Program will devote the month of April to career development.
