2000-01:  Came off the bench to lead the Broncs in several key statistical categories… Averaged 18.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.8 steals a game…  His 2.8 steals per game garnered national recognition, as he finished the season ranked 10th in the NCAA… Chatman was named the Independent Newcomer of the Year, Independent Defensive Player of the Year and Second Team All-Independent.

Junior College: At Southwestern Christian College last season Chatman averaged 25 points and eight assists... His 25 points per game was the highest per game average for a junior college player in Texas... He was named all-conference, All-North Texas Region 5 and was an honorable mention JUCO All-American... Against Eastville Community College he scored 41 points, a season high.

Freed-Hardman College: Spent two years at Freed-Hardman, red-shirted one of those years... Led the Trans South Conference in scoring as a freshman... Was named Trans South Conference Freshman-of-the Year for his play... Was also named to the Trans South Conference All-Freshman Team... He was also named Trans South All-Conference, Western Division... Against Mount Senario College he set a school record with 43 points scored... Set a school record with 135 steals in a single season.

High School: Was a standout for South Garland High School where he earned All-District honors… He averaged 18 points, six assists, five rebounds and three steals per game... Was a two-time all-district selection... He was named all-state as a senior... South Garland won the district championship twice with Chatman playing.

Personal: Born on October 24, 1978… His parents are Mire and Terri Chatman… He has four brothers, Neal, Brian Jehemia and Mike… He has a cousin, Tausha Mills, who has played for the Women’s National Basketball Association’s (WNBA) Washington Mystics for one season... Majoring in General Studies.
