College:
Attended Southern Methodist University out of high school, but
transferred to Drury College... He spent last season at Westark College,
but did not play after tearing his anterior crutiate ligament (ACL).
Casady High School:
Three-sport standout at Casady High School where he participated in
basketball, football and track and field… Had his best year in
basketball as a senior, with 14 points, seven assists and six steals per
game… He was a three-time all-conference and two-time all-city
selection... He was his team Most Valuable Player as a senior... Played
in the Little All-City All-Star game where he scored 18 points... Was
named team captain twice... Four-year letterwinner for Casady... Played
football for CHS three years, earning letters in all three... He was a
two-time all-conference selection in football as well... In track and
field he was a a two-year letterwinner... He was named all-conference
twice and won four conference championships... As a freshman he won the
100 meter, 200 meter and 4x100 meter relay events at the conference
championship meet... As a senior he won the 4x400 meter relay... He was
named team captain as a senior.
Personal: Born
on December 27, 1979… Mother is Angie Marie Hill-Bunting… Has two
siblings, Stoney Bunting and Gabriel Bunting… An outstanding student
he graduated cum laude from Casady High School and was a member of the
honor roll and was a dean’s list member at Westark College… Also
played Amatuer Athletic Union (AAU) basketball for the Oklahoma City
Rams from 1994-98... He led the team in steals and assists all four
years that he played... As a 16-year old he traveled with the team to
the Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev., in 1996... Majoring in
