Bronc Basketball Announces Signing of Tomas Sitnikovas EDINBURG, Texas - The University of Texas-Pan American announced the signing of Tomas Sitnikovas a 6-6 shooting guard from Panevezys, Lithuania. Sitnikovas comes to UTPA from Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte, Nebraska. Sitnikovas played two seasons for the Knights where he averaged 13.6 points per game and dished out 4 assists per contest, unfortunately his season was cut short due to an untimely injury last year. "Thomas is a very versatile player who can play the one, two, and three guard spot," said Head Coach Bob Hoffman. "He shoots very well from three-point land and he can also get to the basket. He will definitely add strength to the guard position for us - he is a total player." Sitnikovas is the fifth player to sign with the Broncs this season. Sitnikovas will be reunited with Andrius Sakalys, a former teammate from a club team in Lithuania who also signed with the Broncs this season.
