Leads UT Pan American Men’s Golf at Border Olympics
LAREDO, TX
– Santiago DeLarrea finished tied for 44th to lead The University
of Texas-Pan American Bronc Golf team to a 14th place finish at the
Border Olympics, held at the Laredo Country Club. DeLarrea,
a sophomore from Sao Paulo, Brazil, shot a final round 72, finishing 17 strokes
out of first place with a three-round total of 225.

Gaynor comes to UTPA from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he served as assistant coach.
8/7/00 - UT Pan American Men’s Golf Announces Signees for 2000-01 Academic Year: The University of Texas-Pan American Athletic Department announced on Monday the signing of five players for the 2000-01 men’s golf season. Wayne Brock, Rodolpho Celedon, Benjamin Piper, James Aleman and Ricky Benavides will all join the Broncs for the upcoming season.
