BEAUMONT -- Jamie McInturff lead the University of Texas Pan American Lady Bronc Golf Team to a 9th place finish in the Lady Cardinal Invitational, hosted by Lamar University.

The Lady Broncs turned in a team score of 1050, 87 strokes off the pace.  The University of Nevada took home team medallist honors with a final total of 963.  Angie Yoon of the Nevada earned individual medallist honors after shooting a pair of 78’s the first day and a 79 in the final round.  Yoon had a three round total of 235.

Jamie McInturff had another top twenty finish, tied for 15th.  McInturff fired a final round 81 to go along with her opening day scores of 83 and 87 to give her a total of 251 strokes.  Tootie Lauzon was UTPA’s next highest finisher in a tie for 33rd place.  Lauzon shot an 89 sandwiched between two 87’s for a total of 263.  Melissa Schaefer ended in a tie for 41st place after shooting 268 for the tournament.  Jeannie Lane (272) and Adriana Espinoza (274) ended up in 46th and 47th places respectively.
