Lauzon Leads UT-Pan American Women's Golf at Bale Cheverolet-Honda Invite.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, ARK. -- Tootie Lauzon fired a final round 80 to finish in 59th place and lead the UT-Pan American Women's Golf Team to a 16th place finish at the Bale Cheverolet-Honda Invitational at the Stone Links Golf Club on Tuesday.

Lauzon, a junior from Columbus, Texas, totaled 248 (81-87-80) for the 54-hole tournament to tie for 59th, 32 strokes out of the lead.  Allie Blomquist of Wisconsin took home medalist honors with a total of 216, three strokes ahead of runner-up Amanda Beeler of Arkansas State.  The University of Wisconsin ran away with the team title, firing a final round 295 to finish with a three-round total of 904.  Oral Roberts took second with a 915 and Arkansas State was third with a 918.  UTPA finished 16th with a 1009.

Jamie McInturff finished 63rd with a total of 250 (80-85-85), Adriana Espinoza was tied for 68th with a 256, Alejandra Gutierrez was 70th with a 257 and Jeannie Lane was 78th with a 263.

The Lady Broncs will next tee off at the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islander Invitational at the Northshore Country Club in Corpus Christi on October 25-26.
