LADY BRONCS 9^TH AFTER FIRST DAY OF ACTION AT LAMAR

BEAUMONT, TX – The University of Texas-Pan American’s women’s golf team is in ninth place after the first day of action at the Lady Cardinal Invitational at the Beaumont Country Club here Monday.

UTPA scored 685 for the first two rounds of the tournament, shooting a 343 for the first 18 holes and a 342 for the next.

Crystal Frazier was the leader for the Lady Broncs, shooting 85 and 78 for 163, placing her in a tie for 26^th place. Christine Treanor of UTPA was tied for 35^th at 84-83-167, Adriana Espinoza of the Lady Broncs tied for 43^rd at 84-89-173, Itziar Unanue shot 90-92-182, placing her 51^st, and Christina Infante of UTPA shot 121-118-239 for 57^th place.

The final 18 holes of the tournament will be played Tuesday.
