LADY BRONCS FINISH NINTH AT LAMAR

BEAUMONT, TX – The University of Texas-Pan American’s women’s golf team finished in ninth place
in their 2002-2002 season debut at the Lady Cardinal Invitational, which was hosted by Lamar
University and concluded Tuesday at the Beaumont Country Club.

UTPA shot a final-round score of 336, and finished with a 54-hole total of 1021. The first two rounds
were played Monday.

Crystal Frazier was the leader for the Lady Broncs, shooting 83 Tuesday and 246 overall, good for
28^th place. Christine Treanor of UTPA was 38^th, with 87 Tuesday and 254 overall. Adriana Espinoza
of the Lady Broncs was 41^st, with 83 Tuesday and 256 overall. Itziar Unanue tied for 47^th, with 83
Tuesday and 265 overall, and Christina Infante of UTPA shot 111 Tuesday and 350 overall for 57^th place.

The Lady Broncs will travel to South Bend, Indiana for the Notre Dame Invitational this weekend.
