LADY BRONCS FINISH NINTH AT LAMAR

BEAUMONT, TX – The University of Texas-Pan American’s women’s golf team finished in ninth place
in their 2002-2002 season debut at the Lady Cardinal Invitational, which was hosted by Lamar
University and concluded Tuesday at the Beaumont Country Club.

UTPA shot a final-round score of 336, and finished with a 54-hole total of 1021. The first two rounds
were played Monday.

Crystal Frazier was the leader for the Lady Broncs, shooting 83 Tuesday and 246 overall, good for
28th place. Christine Treanor of UTPA was 38th, with 87 Tuesday and 254 overall. Adriana Espinoza
of the Lady Broncs was 41st, with 83 Tuesday and 256 overall. Itziar Unanue tied for 47th, with 83
Tuesday and 265 overall, and Christina Infante of UTPA shot 111 Tuesday and 350 overall for 57th place.

The Lady Broncs will travel to South Bend, Indiana for the Notre Dame Invitational this weekend.
