LADY BRONCS 14^TH AFTER FIRST DAY OF ACTION AT NOTRE DAME

SOUTH BEND, IN – The University of Texas-Pan American’s women’s golf team is in 14th place after the first day of action at the Notre Dame Invitational Tournament Saturday.

UTPA scored 364 for the first round of the tournament. The Lady Broncs are six shots ahead of Evansville. Wichita State is in first place with 327, the host Fighting Irish are next at 328, and Arkansas-Little Rock follows at 331

Itziar Unanue led UTPA with a score of 87. Crystal Frazier was next at 89, Adriana Espinoza followed at 92, Christine Treanor shot 96, and Christina Infante shot 126.

The tournament will continue Sunday.
