FINISH 14TH AT NOTRE DAME
SOUTH BEND, IN – The University of Texas-Pan American’s women’s golf team finished 14th at the Notre Dame Invitational Tournament, which concluded Sunday at the Warren Golf Course. UTPA scored 1068, putting the Lady Broncs 37 strokes ahead of Evansville. UTPA finished 32 shots behind 13th-place Southwest Missouri State. Iowa finished first at 968, Wichita State was second at 973, and Arkansas-Little Rock third at 982. Amy Lee of WSU was the tournament’s medallist with a 54-hole score of 232 Itziar Unanue led UTPA, tying for 42nd place with a score of 258. Crystal Frazier was next, shooting 265 for the three rounds to finish in a tie for 61st. Adriana Espinoza tied for 71st at 272, Christine Treanor tied for 73rd with a score of 273, and Christina Infante finished 86th with a score of 346. The Lady Broncs will return to action when they
travel to the Marilyn Smith Invitational at the University of Kansas
