March 2, 2001 Incarnate Word Defeats UT Pan American in Women's Tennis, 6-2, Friday Afternoon SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word won five of six singles matches and two of the three doubles matches to defeat the University of Texas-Pan American, 6-2, in women's tennis action Friday afternoon. Mireya Villarreal had the most success for the Lady Broncs, falling in three sets to Bridgette Butler, 3-6, 6-4, 10-7 at number five singles. Erica Espinoza was a part of both points the Lady Broncs picked up as she won by default in both singles and doubles.
