the season by hitting safely in his final 12 games.... Hit .418 (23-55)
with runners in scoring position......Scored three runs twice, vs. Iona
March 16th and Texas A&M-Kingsville April 1st....Had five hits against
Oral Roberts April 11th.....Drove in four runs against texas-San Antonio
April 23rd....Reached base safely in 32 consecutive games and in 45
of the 50 games in which he played....Earned All-District honors in
each of his four years at EDINBURG NORTH HIGH SCHOOL, where he
played under former Bronc Mike Duffey
