Batted .545 as a senior at CANON CITY HIGH SCHOOL…… Earned first team All-Conference honors in baseball in each of his final three seasons….Also named All-Area as a sophomore, junior and senior…..Pitched and played shortstop…Honorable mention All-State as a quarterback in football….Honorable Mention Academic All-State.
