the plate before he was lost with an injury during the 2003 season......Hit
a home run in his first start of the season against Schreiner.....Scored
twice and drove in two runs in the same game......Broncs were 7-1 in
games that he started......Started two games during the UTPA/Al Ogletree
Classic.... Redshirted as a freshman during the 2002 season
Earned
first team All-District honors at LAGRANGE HIGH SCHOOL..... Named
District Most Valuable Player as a senior....Tri-County Most Valuable
Player.... Earned first team All-State honors....Helped lead his team
to the class 3A state baseball and football championships.....Hit .530
as a senior, with 15 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 43 runs
batted in....Played in the THSBCA All-Star Game.....One of Lonestar
Baseball's Top 100 Players in the state of Texas....Earned All-District,
All-Tri-County and All-State honors in football.
