Another versatile Bronc,
Saenz hit .281 with 14 RBIs while compiling a 2-0 record in 11 relief
appearances during the 2003 season.....Had a .375 slugging percentage
and a .306 on-base percentage......As a pitcher, posted the best ratio
of strikeouts to innings pitched with 21 strikeouts in 20.1 innings.....Earned
victories with scoreless relief appearances at Oral Roberts and at Southeastern
Louisiana.....Scored twice and drove in three runs against Texas-San
Antonio......Had three hits at New Mexico State......Hit .379 in 18
games as a redshirt freshman during the 2002 season

a slugging percentage of .448 and an on-base percentage of .406

Receive the Leo Najo Award.....Hit .350 as a senior with 12 doubles,
one triple, eight home runs and 30 runs batted in.....Also shone as
a pitcher, posting a 7-1 record, one save, struck out 38 batters in
50 innings and finishing with a 2.89 earned run average......Finished
his career at MHS with a 17-5 record on the mound.

one brother, Anthony......Majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor
in Spanish.
