SAN MARCOS, TX—The University of Texas-Pan American and Southwest Texas State were unable to play the first game of their two-game series Tuesday evening at Bobcat Field on the SWTSU campus.
The game was delayed by rain, then suspended after two scoreless innings because of further inclement weather.
The suspended game will be resumed at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday. It will be followed by a seven-inning second game, as the teams will attempt to play a doubleheader.
Following Wednesday’s games, the Broncs will return home to play Dallas Baptist Friday and Saturday at the Edinburg Baseball Stadium.
