built a 7-0 lead and held off a late rally by The University of Texas-Pan
American’s baseball team for a 7-3 victory at Disch-Falk Field Tuesday
evening. The defending national champion Longhorns sandwiched
single runs in the third and fifth innings around a three-run outburst
in the third, then added two more runs in the seventh.
4/6/03- Designated
hitter Joshua Hulin’s run-scoring single with the bases loaded and no
one out in the bottom of the 12th inning gave Texas
A&M-Corpus Christi a 3-2 victory
over the Broncs Sunday afternoon, and a sweep of their
three-game series at Islander Field. Louie Alamia has now hit in five
consecutive games, and 27 of his last 28 games. He has also scored runs
in eight consecutive games.
4/5/03- Texas
A&M-Corpus Christi came from behind
in the opener and built an early lead in the nightcap to defeat Broncs,
7-3 and 10-6, in a doubleheader at Islander Field Saturday
afternoon.
