The Broncs’ top returning scorer, Holcomb ranked second in scoring overall at Texas-Pan American as a junior during the 2002-2003 season .......UTPA’s leading rebounder, Holcomb grabbed 7.5 rebounds per game and was one of two Broncs to start every contest......Made 48 per cent of his field goal attempts, ranking second on the team.... Made 10 of 11 shots from the field in his Bronc debut against New Mexico State last November 22nd .....Made eight of nine shots from the field in a victory against Mississippi Valley State at the UTPA Fieldhouse on Thanksgiving night......Hit eight of 11 against Schreiner December 16th.....Made all seven of his shots at Savannah State February 10th....Was in double figures in rebounds 10 times, including a career-high 16 against Southern December 19th.... Grabbed 14 against Lehigh December 1st..... Reached double figures in scoring in 20 of 30 games, including a career-best 20 against New Mexico State.....Scored 18 three times, against Tulsa, Mississippi Valley State and Tulsa.....Had seven double-doubles........ Earned All-Jayhawk Conference honors as a sophomore at ALLEN COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE during the 2001-02 season.......Averaged 14.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game for the Red Devils, who went 14-16 last season and were 9-9 in the Jayhawk Conference.......Ranked 20th in the conference in scoring and 14th in rebounding, and was Allen County CC’s leading rebounder.........Ranked seventh in the conference in field goal percentage, making 58.9 per cent of his shots, and 14th in defensive rebounding, grabbing 4.4 defensive rebounds per game.......Joined Allen County CC after an outstanding career at STEINMETZ HIGH SCHOOL in the Chicago area.....Earned All-Section and All-Public League Red North Conference honors.... Averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals per game........Born July 19, 1982… Son of Lela and Allen Holcomb… Has three siblings, Khia, Michael and Jabari…... Majoring in General Studies at UTPA.
