KSOX TO BROADCAST MEN'S AND WOMEN'S COACHES SHOWS THIS SEASON

EDINBURG, TX-The University of Texas-Pan American's Department of Athletics has renewed another partnership with KSOX Radio.

KSOX Monster Sports Radio, AM 1240, will once again broadcast men's and women's coaches' shows during the 2003-2004 basketball season.

The men's show, which is called the ConAgra Coaches' Show and is 30 minutes in length, runs weekly on Fridays at 5:00 p.m. and begins on October 31st. The women's show, which is 15 minutes in length, will be broadcast each week on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. and will start November 20th. Both shows will be hosted by KSOX Sports Director Jeff Koch, and will feature Bronc Head Coach Bob Hoffman and Lady Bronc Head Coach DeAnn Craft.

"The coaches' shows offer fans a chance to keep up with what's going on with the teams," said Koch. "It allows them to hear about not only the games that have already been played, but also gives them a chance to look ahead at the games that are coming up."

Hoffman was pleased that the show would be broadcast. "It's a tremendous opportunity to once again be able to talk about our program and the events happening for all of the games," said Hoffman. "Being involved with KSOX is a great asset for our program. KSOX is the sports leader in the Rio Grande Valley and the region that we serve, and being partners with Jeff Koch will lead to a lot of great conversations and discussions about Bronc basketball."

Craft was excited about the program. "This will provide instant exposure for our program, which has nine new faces," said Craft. "It will give all of the fans of the Rio Grande Valley a chance to get acquainted and grow with our program. It's great to be on KSOX, which is the sports leader in the area."

KSOX will broadcast all of UTPA's men's basketball games this season, as well as four of UTPA's women's games.
