BRONCS HOST HOUSTON QUEST IN EXHIBITION GAME

EDINBURG, TX-The University of Texas-Pan American's men's basketball team will play their second and final exhibition game of the season when they host Houston Quest Saturday evening. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the UTPA Fieldhouse.

The Broncs defeated Monterrey Tech, 112-46, in their opening exhibition game Tuesday night.

"I liked the way we played against Monterrey Tech, and I was particularly impressed with the way we shared the ball," said UTPA Head Coach Bob Hoffman. "We had a lot of people who played well. This year, everyone is playing at their natural position. There some things we need to work on, and we'll do that against Houston Quest. They're a skilled team of former collegiate players, and we'll have to come out and play well against them."

The Broncs will open their season against Southern Methodist at South Padre Island November 22nd.
