ADAM PITTERMAN JOINS UTPA AS ASSISTANT SPORTS INFORMATION DIRECTOR

EDINBURG, TX- The University of Texas-Pan American has added Adam Pitterman as its new Assistant Sports Information Director.

Pitterman joins the Texas-Pan American staff after spending the past year as the Sports Information Director at Mount Olive College in Mount Olive, North Carolina.

A native of Williamsville, New York, Pitterman attended Williamsville East High School and the State University of New York at Brockport before entering the sports information field. He spent a year as an intern at Alfred State College, then spent the next two years as a graduate assistant at Delta State University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education at Brockport, and a Master of Science in Physical Education at DSU. He served as the primary contact for softball at both Alfred State and Delta State.

“Adam will be a very valuable addition to the staff,” said UTPA Sports Information Director Dave Geringer. “He has experience in every phase of sports information, and he has worked at several schools and with some very successful programs. His talent and experience will help make us more efficient.”
