"I'm pleased with the way we played in the first round." Said head coach Drew Scott. "It was very adverse conditions yesterday with a very wet course. It was a good first round after our last outing at Rice. We played the whole tournament with Oklahoma City who won it and Southern Illinois who was third. That helped us. We are just going to practice and worked on our games to get ready for the Trojan Cup in two weeks."
