Beaumont, Texas - Texas-Pan American (1-2 Southland, 9-6) picked up a pair of victories to extend its winning streak to three matches. UTPA will take on Southeastern Louisiana, April 9. The match is scheduled to start at noon.

Texas-Pan American beat Prairie View A&M 4-0. All singles matches were played in a pro set style due to time constraints.

UTPA then picked up its first Southland Conference win of the season by beating Lamar 4-3. The Cardinals came into the singles matches with a 1-0 lead. However the Broncs won four of the single matches for the victory. The match decider was at Number Four, where Oliver Steil (So./Brunssum, The Netherlands/AF North International School) edged Naeem Kath, 7-5, 6-7, 6-4.
