Contact: Mike Bond (mibond@panam.edu), Assistant Sports Information Director

Beaumont, Texas - Southeastern Louisiana took a 5-2 win over Texas-Pan American (1-3 Southland, 9-7). The loss snapped a three-match winning streak for the Broncs. UTPA will close out the regular season against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on April 16. The match is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.

Texas-Pan American started the match out strong by winning all three doubles for the second time in its last three matches. The single matches were heartbreaking as the Broncs won the first set in each of the first three singles, then lost the next two sets in those same singles. Rehman Esmail (So./Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada/North Carolina State) won his fourth straight match with a 7-6, 2-6, 6-4 win over Josh Smith at Number Five.
