2003 XC: Was a solid runner for the Broncs. 2003 TRACK: Finished fourth in the 3000 meter SC at the Southwestern Bell Classic in 10:59.60. 2002 CROSS-COUNTRY: In his first year of competition the junior from Pharr posted some solid results for the men of Edinburg. Lopez finished 13th overall in his first race at the NCAA Division I Independent Championships in Corpus Christi posting a personal best for five miles of 27:57. PREP: Lopez was a key component for Coach Herman Figueroa’s Raiders. He helped the Raiders to two state berths in the Texas 5A Championships.
