2003
TRACK OUTLOOK: Roosevelt has improved throughout his career at UTPA
and more of the same is expected this spring. He will concentrate on
running 3000 and 5000 meters. COACHS COMMENTS: Roosevelt
has done nothing, but get better and better throughout his career. He
is a true example of what it means to be a student-athlete. 2002
CROSS-COUNTRY: Campbell posted personal records almost every time
out. He opened with a personal best for four miles at Corpus Christi,
improved on that effort at San Antonio with a time of 23:14, and scored
at the Texas A&M Invitational. He ended his collegiate cross-country
career with his best effort ever for five miles, covering a muddy, hilly
course at the Southern Independent Championships in 28:48, and finishing
16th overall. 2001-02: Campbell competed at 3000 meters indoors and
1500 meters outdoors for the Broncs.
