Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Rashaad Ben (Sr./Austin, Texas/Sidney Lanier HS) broke the school record in the 60M Hurdles and hit the NCAA provisional mark. Ben ran 7.93 to win the race at the LSU Twilight Meet.

This is the third straight meet that Ben has broken the school record. He also becomes the first hurdler in school history to hit a NCAA provisional or automatic mark. The provisional mark is 7.95 and the automatic time is 7.70.

"It's really incredible for Rashaad to have taken almost half-a-second off his time in just three weeks." Said head coach Ricky Vaughn. "Rashaad is just finding the right rhythm right now. We are going to have to find him another meet to see if we can get him qualified for nationals."
