EDINBURG, TX-For four years, senior outside hitter Jaclyn Muszynski has been virtually synonymous with volleyball at The University of Texas-Pan American.

Muszynski will play at home for the final time in her career when she leads the Lady Broncs against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Senior Night Tuesday evening. Game time is 5:00 p.m. at the UTPA Fieldhouse, preceding the men's basketball team's exhibition game against Monterrey Tech.

The Lady Broncs will bring a three-match winning streak and a 15-12 overall record into Tuesday's contest. The Javelinas are 9-23, and defeated the Lady Broncs in five games at the Steinke Center in Kingsville September 30th.

Muszynski, a three-time All-Independent first team selection, leads Texas-Pan American in career kills (1536), hitting attempts (4300) and digs (1293). She is tied for second in services aces (104), second in games played (446), sixth in block assists (108) and eighth in total blocks (130). She holds single-season records for kills (453 in 2002) and hitting attempts (1317 in the same season), is the first Lady Bronc player with both 1000 kills and 1000 digs, and the first player to record three seasons with 300 kills and 300 digs.

Muszynski is one of only three UTPA players to record more than 30 kills in a match, and has 14 matches in which she has had 20 or more kills, more than anyone else in Lady Bronc history. The 2001 Independent Offensive Player of the year, Muszynski was named Independent Defensive Player of the Week last week.

"Jaclyn has meant a lot to our team during her career," said UTPA Head Coach Dave Thorn. "She's been one of our leaders both offensively and defensively during her four-years, and she's accomplished things that no one else has done here. Hopefully, we can get some payback against Kingsville, and make Jaclyn's last home match a successful one."

The Lady Broncs will return to action next week when they visit Texas Southern and Prairie View A&M.
