Ranked second in scoring and led the Lady Broncs in rebounding during the 2001-2002 season as a junior......Averaged 11.8 points and 6.1 rebounds.....Led UTPA by making 82 free throws and was second with 57 steals.......Ranks as UTPA’s all-time leading rebounder, is second in free throws, fourth in field goals and fifth in free throws......Scored 25 points against Texas-El Paso....Grabbed 15 rebounds against both Texas A&M-Kingsville and Centenary........Had three double-doubles.

Led the Lady Broncs in rebounding and free throws during the 2000-01 season as a sophomore......Led the Lady Broncs in rebounds, blocked shots and field goal percentage… Was second with 61 steals… Third in scoring with 11.9 points per game… Led the team with six double-doubles… Scored 25 points in consecutive games against Centenary and Belmont … Grabbed a 4 rebounds against Florida Atlantic … Scored 22 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and added six steals and four blocked shots against Lipscomb.

Played in all 27 games, starting 12, during the 1999-2000 season as a freshman........Led UTPA in rebounding... Had two double-doubles, includingone in her first collegiate game with 19 points and 10 rebounds against Troy State ... Scored 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds in leading UTPA to a victory against Texas-San Antonio ... Had a season high six steals against Centenary ... Made seven of eight shots from the field and scored 16 points against Houston Baptist.

Earned All-District honors four times at CLEAR BROOK HIGH SCHOOL in Houston...Twice named first team All-District..... Averaged 14 points and nine rebounds per game …… A talented track and field athlete, Williams ran 12.94 in the 100 ....Was the Texas state champion as a junior at 100 meters...Was a member of the Houston Hotshots AAU basketball team.

Born January 17, 1981… Daughter of Florence Ollison and Patrick Williams Sr… Has one brother…Majoring in Marketing.

“Naima definitely brings athleticism to our team. She can be a pivotal part of our defensive scheme, and will make us tough defensively. On the other side, her ability to get to the rim and hit the 15 footer will fit in perfectly within our offensive scheme. She could be close to averaging a double-double.”
