2004 OUTLOOK: Will primarily run the 800 this spring. COACH’S COMMENTS: “Dannely had a very good freshman year, and she has been a very solid cross country runner for us. I think she will have a very good indoor and outdoor season.” 2003 XC: Best finishes were 19th at UTSA and 29th at the Independent Championships. 2003 TRACK: Ran 800 meters in 2:36.54 indoors at the Houston Indoor Invitational February 8th.......Ran 3000 meters in 11:16.68 at the same meet.........Outdoors, best mark was 5:18.94 for 1500 meters at the UTSA/Whataburger Invitational March 22. 2002 CROSS-COUNTRY: Flores opened her season at the Whataburger Invitational with a21:53 effort for 5000 meters, then followed that up with a time of 20:07 at the Southern Independent Championships at Corpus Christi, good for 19th place. PREP: Competed for Brownsville Hanna High School, earning district championships at 200 (26.80) and 400 (59.6) meters, as well as while a member of the 4 X 400 meter relay team. She also ran cross country and played soccer.
