Deneb
DeLuna qualified for the regional meet at Nebraska
May 30th and 31st when she finished third in the
shot put at the Texas Relays Friday afternoon.
4/3/03-
The
Track teams turned in strong performances at the Texas Relays,
as Westly Keating finished first at 5,000 meters, while Rowena Hamlet
and junior Patty Villarreal did well in their respective races.
4/2/03-The
Lady Broncs will compete at the Texas Relays this weekend.
3/29/03- The
men's and women's track teams set six meet records at the Angela Procter
Open Saturday.

3/15/03-Moses 15th: Amy Moses was 15th in the weight throw at
the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
3/12/03-Moses Heads East: Amy Moses will become the first student-athlete
to represent UTPA at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
3/8/03-Good Opener: UTPA had 17 personal bests at the Javelina
Relays Saturday.
3/7/03-Moses to NCAAs: Amy Moses qualified for the NCAAs and broke
the school record for the weight throw at the Alex Wilson Invitational
Friday.

while the rest of the Lady Broncs open their outdoor season this weekend.

UTPA high jump record at the Drake relays, while Lovie Mathis was fifth
in the triple jump at the Rice/RunSport Twilight Invitational.

Deanah Chavez for the fall.
