Major
Program Benefits
Acceptance to the Premedical Honors College (PHC) provides
conditional admission to Baylor College of Medicine
upon completion of undergraduate requirements at UT-PA.
The conditional acceptance requires students to maintain
a 3.4 minimum GPA (on a 4.0 scale), and a 3.1 science
GPA, and to score a minimum of 27 on the Medical College
Admissions Test (MCAT) with no section less than 7.
The PHC provides rigorous academic preparation for medical

enrichment, and research programs and experiences to
improve preparation for medical school.
