Mission
and Purpose:
The
purpose of the Biology Club is both literary and educational.
We will strive to address, achieve, and provide the following:
" Confer distinction for high achievement in biology in undergraduate,
graduate, and professional studies
" Provide cultural stimulation and promote interest in biology
for UTPA students, and for the surrounding community
" Foster all aspects of excelling in the discipline of biology
" Promote exemplary character and good fellowship
" Provide interaction for members with professionals in various
fields of biology
" Participate in community service projects
" Exhibit high standards of academic excellence

Building for ongoing information and opportunities.
Meeting
Schedule:
During the Spring, 2006 semester, we meet every second and fourth
Tuesday of the month in the Science Building, room 1.288 from
12:00 - 1:00 p.m. You are welcome to join at any point in the
semester, and begin getting involved and enjoy the benefits of
belonging to this club.
