A Traditional Social Gathering: The 2008 Annual Chili Event

Faculty members, graduate students, staff and friends got together to enjoy the
annual 'chili con carne' competition at the Zaidans' residence on October 25/08.
Here are some photographs of some of the food tasters.

Trophy for first place for Dr. Anxiu Kuang (recipe downloaded from an internet site plus a secret ingredient)

There was a wide variety of chili preparations to enjoy by those who attended this traditional social gathering initiated by Dr. Christopher Little.

Dr. Fred Zaidan's home was the center of warm hospitality.

Some were spicy, hot, crunchy, and full of delicious ingredients.
