How would you describe your teaching philosophy or style?
I thoroughly enjoy
teaching and I am excited about what I teach. My goal is for my
students to become just as I am about learning.
What you like about teaching at UTPA?
I believe my
colleagues and the students at UTPA want to make a significant
difference in the lives of the children and clients they intend to
serve. It is exciting to work with colleagues who share this vision of
impacting the lives of children in the Rio Grande Valley.
Expertise and research agenda
My research agenda
focues on educational programming and assessment issues pertaining to
bilingual and/or at-risk and disabled children and youth.
