Welcome to the Project Enhance Assistive Technology (AT) Lab. We at Project Enhance believe that people with disabilities need the opportunity to “tryout” and experiment with assistive technology before they buy. Project Enhance AT Lab staff welcomes all individuals with disabilities to come by, call, and “tryout” our technology. We at the AT Lab also welcome individuals who work in the company of people with disabilities such as faculty, staff, administrators, employers, therapists, doctors, etc.
The
Project Enhance Assistive Technology Lab houses a range of equipment including
closed circuit television systems, a Braille printer, scanner, an assortment of
magnification devices, digital recorders, talking calculators and dictionaries,
alternative computer input devices, voice recognition software, screen reading
software, and a variety of other items that can enable people with disabilities
to live a more independent life.
